Formal letter of demand delivered by hand to the legal department no response

Update: Ongoing Issue with Cell C – Escalated Beyond Standard Channels I’m posting this update to provide transparency on my ongoing matter with Cell C and to assist others who may be experiencing similar challenges. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue through standard support channels, I found that the matter could not be meaningfully progressed via the call centre environment. As a result, I escalated the issue directly by attending the company’s head office to ensure that it was formally acknowledged. Current Position • The matter has now been formally escalated beyond frontline support structures • It has been received at a higher internal level • A formal response has been requested, with a defined timeline provided Key Concern Based on my experience, the primary difficulty has not been the issue itself, but rather: • The lack of clear escalation pathways • Difficulty in obtaining accountable points of contact • Delays in receiving substantive, outcome-driven responses Why This Matters This post is not intended to make accusations or to damage the reputation of the company. It is simply to: • Document the process transparently • Highlight the importance of effective escalation mechanisms • Encourage accountability where resolution delays occur For Others Experiencing Similar Issues If you are dealing with unresolved matters: • Keep detailed records of all interactions • Request written confirmation of any commitments made • Escalate respectfully but persistently where necessary • Ensure that your issue is formally logged and acknowledged Next Steps I am currently awaiting a formal response within the timeline that has been communicated. Should the matter not be resolved appropriately, I will consider further formal avenues available to me to ensure closure by issuing a summons against them .

Client Final Comment There is a clear opportunity here for improvement in how escalated matters are handled. I remain open to a constructive resolution and will provide a further update once there is a substantive outcome. For those facing similar challenges—progress is possible, but persistence appears to be essential. Charles Elliott
