Forced new contract

<p>In late February-March I called Cell C to notify them of my contract ending in May. I have indicated that I do not want to renew my contract for a new device but would like to get a mobile wifi router to replace a device. The consultant I spoke to advised that it was an upgrade but they do not have stock, they will call me once they have stock next week.</p> <p> </p> <p>A week passed and I never received the call, I called again and explained to the consultant that someone promised to call regarding an upgrae to a wi fi router. He placed an order for me and the order was delivered promptly. On arrival, I tried using the wifi but could not connect, when I called to check what was wrong, I was told of too many technicalities that were not mentioned the first or second time, I was moved from one line to the next with other sales person trying to sell me a new product and I indicated I wanted my problem to be resolved first before we can talk about anything else.</p> <p> </p> <p>The last gentleman whom I spoke to, said he was investigating and listening to my call recordings to establish if what I am saying is correct so they can over right a fine I have to pay. I requested to also have copies of the recordings which he said they could be made available to me. They have since gone quite. I am stuck with a mobile router that is not working which defeats the purpose. I do not know what is the status of my contract with Cell.</p> <p> </p>
