Fiber line held hostage
Can someone at Cell C please help me out. I will be taking occupation of an apartment on 1 November and have tried to have fiber installed before I move in. I was informed that The Cell C fiber from the previous owner is active and still occupies the line and my order can not move ahead. I have tried contacting Cell C but have had no response, I have an email from the previous tenant where Cell C have confirmed the end of service.
I would really appreciate it if this matter can be resolved and Cell C could release the line for me to use it as planned.

31 Oct 2019, 11:55After finding a number and getting through to support staff myself as no one has contacted me, we have found that the previous tenants cancellation was successful but the line is still active. The support consultant said he would call me back so he could investigate internally. So far there has been no call back. This is shocking service from Cell C! How difficult is it to get a line deactivated!!!!

This is frankly disgusting how none customers, who could be turned into potential customers, are treated!!!!! I have taken to tweeting and after initial contact I have been told that I will be given feedback when its available. This issue has been ongoing for a week! If this issue is not resolved in the next 24hrs I will be taking this further

If it wasnt for a very helpful Mpumalelo at the call center it still wouldnt be resolved. BIG thanks for his help and constant feedback, he is the exception to an utter shocking experience with Cell C. I can safely say I will NEVER use any service offered by Cell C
