I am so fed up with Cell C. It’s been years of promises that were never fulfilled.

I have a serious query regarding a contract I took with Cell C on 31 March 2015.

The issue is that I have been receiving messages on my cellphone number that I owe Cell C.

These are the messages below:

Reminder to make an affordable payment on your Cell C account today at ABSA ***. NDS *** *** <Website>

We have tried to contact you regarding your Cell C acc. We want to assist. Call: ***/ ‭***‬/ Whatsapp https://bit.ly/2AawhAG Ref 1CC023728 (2020-07-14)

As far as I remember I paid my contract in full. I closed that contract long time ago. I used to receive Billings from Cell C and I went to the store in Westgate Mall. I was told to call their billing Department which I did. The billing department told me to pay an outstanding amount of R882.13 in the Nedbank Account they gave me. I did so via EFT on 30 June 2017. I was furious when I paid this amount.

I am shocked to receive messages that I owe Cell C. I am on Credit Bureau because of this. Can someone please fix this!

I was promised by Cell C that they will remove me on Credit Bureau and provide me with the letter thereof.
