Fantastically P..ss Poor service!!!

I have spent about 5 months trying to move my debit order between banks. I have two contracts with Cell C - one for a data sim, which is paid up - but I get no data from it, and a telephone line - which was suspended due to being in arrears.

As part switching debit orders on the contracts, the date that the data package was converted to a debit order at BankX. That is the SAME date that the telephone line was supposed to have been changed also. I have followed up every month, on noting that the debit order didn't go through, and contacting the call center the agent would take the details again and assures me that the change has been made, and the amount would go off at the end of the month, AND the line would stay active.

I finally managed to make contact with somebody at VODACOM, who deals with CellC complaints - which is REALLY weird, and I got a one line email back saying please provide me with a RICA'd sim so that they can convert me to prepaid....

So through their mistake - and clearly a lack of investigation, I am now forced to relinquish a contract that would have been in good standing - if they had bothered to do their job!!!
