False sales promise

On the 9th of March 2017, I spend more than 70 minutes on the phone between Vodacom and CellC. This was with regards to a number being ported from Vodacom to CellC, with a new contract at CellC. Christina was the lady helping me at CellC. She said she can only give me a black Samsung J5 Prime. I then phoned Vodacom, and they were able to give me a golden J5 Prime. I then phone CellC back, stating I will rather stay with Vodacom, upon which Christina convinced me, CellC is better. I told her, I will only take their contract on ONE condition, I want the golden phone or nothing. She then told me to hold on while she speaks to her manager about this request. She came back to me, promising me they will only send me the golden phone. This caused me to have to phone Vodacom, again, to cancel my upgrade with them.

On 14th March I phoned CellC to follow up on the process, only to be informed that there is nothing on the system stating the "gold only phone request". I told this lady, Jessica, I will NOT take delivery of anything but the golden phone, as promised by Christina (under no unclear conditions as the only condition for the contract). Had I not followed up, I would have received a black phone. Jessica then send an email to Christina to contact me and to give me feedback. Christina then phoned me back with excuses that there is no golden phone available anywhere, and, even suggesting I chose another phone, which would obviously change the whole contract pricing! This is preposterous! After being promised one thing, in order to sign up with CellC, lying to me on purpose in other words, just to change everything? I wasted 80 minutes of my time because of this Christina lady! I am SERIOUSLY disappointed and HIGHLY frustrated!
