There should be no confusion in this phrase when providing a customer this information, 5GB Day + 5GB night opens the door for debate as per the consumer protection policies, and there was clearly confusion. I would not have agreed to a 5GB data sim for a month as this is not logical to use that small amount per month.

Advertised information should be clear and not misleading.

The fact remains that I have the right to cancel this is not beneficial at all and was misleading and unclear.

I have emailed the screenshot to the email address provided.

Looking forward to resolve this frustrating matter.

Thank you for your email.
I have just spent over an hour and half with an agent that advised and laughed at me and cannot provide me with the call recordings, she advised I can only retrieve or listen toe it at a cellc store.
She was not in any way listening to what I am saying that this adverti*****t was misleading and she was just phoning to try and intimidate me by saying I entered into agreement with cellc Whatsapp why did I trust the Whatsapp guy. And why did I provide the information to him and why did I not ask questions and that I did understand everything. I told her that the consumer act 68 of 2008 states I have 20 days to cancel.
She did not phone to assist me, she merely tried to make a fool out of me.
I took a daily contract of 5GB day and 5GB per night for a monthly R119. She does not agree and insinuates that I am lying and why didn't I phone earlier to ask why the data is not working.
I had tiles done as from the cold it broke and rhe tile people were here at my house where I work from temporarily. And I only received the data sim 28 July. She also insinuates that I am now changing my story. Attached the courier guy statement.
She said that cellc doesn't have the Whatsapp agents transcripts but I have a binding contract. But cellc cannot see transcripts that happened. Why is there a Whatsapp service if a customer's interests and to be treated fairly is not protected by cellc? This is not TCF, treating a customer fairly as I also have to adhere to in my work.
I waa advised now to go to police station and make an affidavit to take the case further with icasa. The first debit order did not even go off yet and now I have to pay R2633.49 plus monthly subscription and prorated data.
Please just cancel this contract. I cannot pay for something that I was not clearly advised is 5GB for the whole month.
The agent on WhatsApp knew I needed data daily.
The agent I just spoke with would rather fight with me that I did something wrong in not enquiring earlier why my data is not working. She did not phone to resolve but only to tell me I understood everything and that I am wrong.
I'm looking forward to your responses to resolve this matter.
I have been with Cellc for many years, I stayed loyal to this company and now I am treated like this.
I respectfully request to cancel this contract as it was misleading and not what I agreed to.

Still waiting for feedback with regards to cancellation within the cooling off period for misleading information supp****. Call Centre Agents just argue that I am are wrong and tell me that I did not qualify my security questions and that when they phone back perhaps, I can remember my details... ?! which stays the same each time. Just excuses no solution on cancelling this that I did not agree to. Don't phone me, you are just abusing and accusing me. confirm cancellation and negligence of clear information provided. You have all my details.

first contract received on Woman's day. i did provide you with the Whatsapp screenshots and still that is not enough.

Yet again it is 11:36 on this 11th day of August 2023. I have failed my security questions. and i am beginning to understand that they want to enforce something for me to say.

trying undue influence, pressure duress unfair tactics by letting me repeat my personal information over and over again and again.

and then i fail and i have to be phoned again. this is not fair and honest dealings towards me the consumer.

All good and well yes i agree. the fact remains my personal information is the same each time. I have been ****med before and lost a lot of money, yesterday after your phone call Mzansi called me and tried to **** me through a bank debit supposedly going off. so, I understand fully of *****ulent activities, been there and that is the way to proceed. but my house address, cellphone number, name surname and ID number will not change after a few minutes... do you understand that do you agree? back and forth we go and no solution.
