False advertising! Cant cancel month-to-month.

I want to cancel my MONTH-TO-MONTH contract (My Package PINNACLE 3GB) and move to Pre-Paid. However, when I phoned in today, I was told by Cell C that I wont be able to cancel until September 2023? The main reason I took this contract was the ability to move whenever I want to. Even according to their website:

"Can I really cancel anytime? Yes, just let us know 5 days before the card debit date on the 25th and we'll make sure not to bill your for the coming month, with no cancellation fees."

So I cant cancel anytime I want???!!!

How ********* is that for you? I have been a long standing customer of Cell C and I disgusted by this response and hope I am contacted by management to resolve this issue.
