False advertising

Once again I have a problem with Cell C. This time it's due to false advertising. I upgraded my contract to get myself a laptop went into the store and seen the mecer guru with a 1TB storage on they adverti*****t in the magazine.

On the day of the I bought the laptop the consultant did not confirm the storage space which stated in the magazine 1TB.

I feel like this is false advertising as Cell C gave me a 64GB laptop and when querying with them they are telling me it's Microsoft 365 1TB.

The manager by the name of Dipuo Moagi has told me that they adverti*****t is correct and to her is all correct. Nothing is wrong with her advertising. Cell C cresta needs a better manager. I have not received a call yet from management to confirm anything for me.

This is the email I sent cell C management and they feel that the adverti*****t is correct.

This is not the first time I have an issue with Cell C and I am really disappointed and really upset right now.

On the 01/06/2021 I was your last customer in store that came to collect a laptop package on an up grade. In May I came and have an enquiry for this laptop and it was advertised for R469 a month which includes the following:

10GB data

* Bag

* Pocket router

* 1 Year notron antivirus

* Microsoft ink with

* Active stylus

* 1 Year office 365

* 1TB storage

* Free we grow SA

Voucher with R32000

The laptop is a mecer guru celeron touch screen.

When I start setting up everything I then noticed that the laptop storage is a 64GB which was really disheartening as I was under the impression I'm getting a 1TB storage as stated on the advert and this is not the case.

I've contact the consultant that assested me with the sale with my equiry and she notified me they will get back to me with the issue.

The consultant came back to me to say it's a 1TB storage for Microsoft cloud which it does not state anywhere.

Just remember I only bought this laptop as it was a 1TB storage and would have been an ideal gift to my wife.

This is false advertising and I am hoping to get this issue sorted out before I decide to take it a step further as I feel like Cell C has just ****** me by giving me false information.

Please note that I have also message the consultant to advise her I would like to return the laptop until this issue is sorted out as If they are not going to sort this issue out I do not want this package and was advise the 7day return is only if there is a fault.

This issue apparently went to the Cell C regional manager and the advise of this is only a 1TB Microsoft cloud came from him but no manager or regional manager has called me and tried to resolve this error that cell C has made or the false advertising that cell C is doing, how many other people has fallen for this same issue? A 64GB laptop is totally useless most of the standard apps already fills this laptops space already. I am highly disappointed and honestly feel like Cell C is robbing people.

I shall be waiting for feedback.
