False advertising

Cell C advertises deals available from 01 September to 17 October 2021. I called 03 September to upgrade, and when I called back 06 September to check when the devices will be delivered I was informed my upgrade was cancelled (with no communication as to why and who cancelled it). Today I call back to follow up what's happening I am informed the deal is not available any longer yet they still have the connector book advertising this (and other deals) on their website yet the agent(s) informed they don't have deals for less than R219, is this not false advertising, if you know of the device and package not being available any longer, why still advertise it? And how does deals become not available if a few days time? The start of the deal was 01 September and by 6 September its no longer available yet the book states available until 17 October?
