false advertising

last year i renewed my 2 cell phone contracts i have had with cell c and as always i expected to pay the monthly advertised amount for which the contracts/phones has been advertised. to my dismay i have recently discovered that the amount the contracts are advertised is the figure EXCLUDING VAT. i went onto the cell c website to check out their new deals and none of them shows that the deals excludes VAT. this means that whoever takes out a contract with cell c will have to calculate and include VAT into their monthly fee. i would have appreciated it if someone told me about this was the case when i renewed my contracts. now i'm sitting with a cellphone bill of R500 every month which i certainly cant afford. i cant cancel the contract because i will be charged a cancellation fee and would most probably have to pay out the rest of the contracts. i am most certainly not renewing my contracts with cell c again.
