False Advertising

Cell C advertizes UNLIMIITED whatsapp usage for R12.50 per month. However it is NOT unlimited. It's LIMITED to just over 1GB per month. Of course T'c and C's apply, but you can't advertize something as UNLIMITED, and then say afterwards in the small print, ok, it is actually limited. That is false advertising!

Hi Johan
The terms and conditions do apply and it clearly states that there is a fair usage policy.
The fair usage limit is needed to protect the service against abuse from businesses using the unlimited WhatsApp offer to send out bulky, continuous WhatsApp messages.

Best regards,
But then it's not unlimited aws you claim in your campaign. Therefore you can not brand and advertise it as unlimited, because it is a lie.
unlimited
ʌnˈlɪmɪtɪd/Submit
adjective
1.
not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent.
Roman's pizza advertise that if you buy two large pizzas, you can get a 2l coke for only 99c. Then when you get to the store, and buy the deal, you get 2l for 99c, not a 500ml for 99c.
Then you should market your product as "Fair usage lots of whatsapp for R12.50"... but then i guess your campaign won't look as attractive as "Unlimited". Bottom line is that your campaign is misleading.
