Failure to Comply to the Law

Hi there,

Recently purchased a data bundle to transfer it to a friend using the "share data with a friend" option.

Seemingly, it appears that there are two types of data. I purchased the incorrect one without any knowledge that it cannot be transferred. This was only discovered after long and tedious complaining and deliberation with the Customer Services Team.

Furthermore, they refuse to refund the purchase. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of 2006, I have a legal right to request a refund as the purchased product does not function according to my expectations and I am unsatisfied with this. I have no need of this product.

Cell C Customer Services flaunt the law and refuse to adhere to it - they refused to replace the product with the desired product or refund me.

I have now had to purchase the correct product because I have been forced to make the additional purchase.

I want the data I cannot use refunded please.

Kind regards,

SS
