Extremely dissapointed with Cell C

<p>I received an upgrade through Cell C on the 01st April and was given a Huawei Mate 7 on their recommendation. 5 months later the phone has stopped charging and I took it in for repairs at Cell C. They advised that they found corrosion on the battery connector (after 5 months) and the warranty does not cover this (Mist/water could have caused the rust-really??). The repairs will cost me R2500 for a R6000 phone.</p> <p>Cell C are typically looking for an excuse not to repair this phone and bully another consumer into unnecessary expenditure. The managers are never available at the repair centre and the consultants try their best not to help and give insane stories like the phone was wet but theres not trace of water damage. Clearly this was a faulty part if it could rust within 5 months of normal usage.</p> <p>I will be taking this up with ICASA.</p>
