Extremely bad service

I'm sending this review on behalf of my father as he does not have access to this facility and is being taken advantage of. He had notified your consultants a month prior to his contract coming to an end, that the contract needs to be cancelled. The contract supposedly ended on 19th November 2017. Every month since then, you keep collecting fees from his account and after numerous calls to you, each time you say "this is the last deduction" and in January 2018 when my mom had called, you advised that "we actually owe you". Then you sent free minutes, when you are aware that the account is to be cancelled. On 02/02/2018 you sent a confirmation SMS reading "Your cancellation request was processed successfully and your contract will be terminated on 02/02/2018." Another SMS " ********** 713 has been cancelled from your account" .To this date, you keep sending sms's advising of an upgrade, attempting to collect when this has been cancelled last year!! Please employ competent staff because this is going to get very ugly when all of social media has been made aware of your "incredible" service. I want this sorted ASAP. Also note no invoices/ statements have been received to date, but you can pick up the account details with the cellphone number listed: ********** 713.

I want confirmation ASAP that this has been cancelled and if there are any more debit order attempts, I will personally revert to a legal process.

Regards, Lee-Ann

Shortly after your team member made contact, two SMS's was received: "Your Cell C account is in arrears by R60.56. Services to be suspended on non-payment in 2 days. (Ignore this SMS if payment is already made). " "R70 will be charged for returned debit orders. Pay at: Nedbank, Corporate Client Service, Branch code: 145405, Account no ********** 059. Ref: Your Cellphone no " Then another SMS today " Cell C customer, please pay your account urgently to avoid negative credit listing. Please call 084140 to make a payment arrangement. Cell C" This account was cancelled a month prior to the contract ending in November 2017 and all fees have been paid up!! There should be NO ACCOUNT. Please refrain from sending these SMS'S and collecting any fees going forward. I want confirmation ASAP that this has been done!

Mpho confirmed that he has contacted you and advised that the contract has been cancelled. He further advised that a request has been sent for a credit to be passed.

Kindly note that the above-mentioned SMS's have been received shortly after Mpho's telephonic confirmation. Another SMS was received today at 09:47. "Your Cell C account is still in arrears. Your service will be suspended today. Cell c" This is highly unacceptable. There is NO ACCOUNT, NO CONTRACT. I demand a call from someone higher than Mpho and confirmation that the contact number has been removed from your database so you may refrain from sending these threatening SMS's!!!

And then you went and disconnected the cellphone number!!!! I personally have been with Cell C for more than 10 years and have put up with their **** network for so long, not to talk about the price increase and when you check you airtime or data balance, the airtime/ data just disappears for no valid reason. Time to move on to greener pastures. Please have your Director make contact asap!
