Expired contract

Good day...... . Could someone please explain to me why is so difficult to end a contract with Cell C? I called, email, called again several times but still nothing to date. Is it because Cell C is employing lazy people who don't want to do their jobs while so many of us are unemployed? On the 7th of May 2020 I mailed Meagan Williams from Cell C asking her to close or cancel my contract as the 2 year contract is reaching it's expiration date, which is June 2020. It was a requirement from Cell C to put my request in writing..... Thanks cause now I have proof that I followed all their requirements. Last month I when to their branch in Alberton city mall to find out if the account has finally been closed still active was the answer I received. They claimed they don't close accounts at the branch I should call in. Today I received a call from a guy working for cell c asking when I'll be making payment of R400 really I lost it and gave him an ear full respectful of course but he drop the call. I can't keep on paying for a contract that's reached it's expiration date, seriously I'm unemployed... This has to stop

I feel that Cell C should be named and shamed for their poor service and customer care
