Excellent Customer Service - Andile Gumede

I would like to commend Andile Gumede for the excellent customer service he has rendered during my recent fibre installation.

Vumatel installed fibre to our complex sometime in 2018. At the end of December I decided to activate the fibre and chose Cell C as my ISP. I signed up with Cell C and was told that Vumatel would only be available in January to complete the installation on their side. An appointment was set for the 8th January. Vumatel came on time and installed the router. Thereafter Karabo Makola from Cell C contacted me and made arrangements to complete the Cell C part of the installation. He rendered excellent service as well. After a few days I was not receiving any communication from either Vumatel or Cell C. I contacted the Cell C Fibre Call Centre and got through to Andile. I was so happy that I did.

From the get go Andile took his time to explain every step to me. He kept me regularly updated, on the hour. He constantly communicated with Vumatel to push for resolution. I felt that Cell C had my back and that a speedy resolution was imminent. Due to Andile's persistence I was speedily connected.

Andile is a superstar and a great ambassador for Cell C.
