Erroneous demand by Cell C
On Saturday, 3 April 2021 I received an sms to say that I owed cell C R 240.00. I have a monthly debit order with cell C which had gone through in March. The call centre lady, Phana, could not understand why I had been asked for R 240. Her reference number is ***. She apologised. I contacted her on 3 April 2021 as soon as I got the sms. This is such a waste of time! On Easter Monday our family afternoon was disturbed by another cell C lady who went through an extensive security check with me. Then she said that Cell C owed me money. I told her to please rectify the problem. I was upset that our family day was disturbed by this confused cell C person. But at 3,16 pm today I received another sms asking for R240. This is such a waste of time both for Cell C and me. I am a medical doctor Most of my colleagues refuse to give cell C any business.

13 Apr 2021, 14:18I was contacted by consultant, Ms Abrahams, who was very professional.
She apologised on behalf of Cell C. She confirmed that I do not owe cell C anything.
She said that she would inform the Cell C Billing department that I did not owe anything.
However at 9,55 am today I received yet another urgent demand via sms from a Cell person for R240. I am informing Ms Abrahams

Please do send me an email confirming that at this point in time I actually do not owe Cell C anything. I have emailing the sm email address about the further attempts to extract R240 from me. Please stop the cell C person who is wasting everyone's time.
