Empty Promises And The Worst Service

On the 13th March 2017, I opened a contract with Cell C Kolonade, in my mothers name. The whole process went well. The sales person then asked me if I would like to cap the contract because it was an open line, I agreed because I have experienced how crazy Cell C would bill you with an open line. He then said a cap was placed on it. The month then ends, on the 31st March 2017 the day the debt order was supposed to go off for the new contract. On the 3rd April 2017 I call Cell C Customer Care to find out why my debt order was not deducted from my mother's account. The Customer Care consultant explained that, because the contract was taken out during the month payment will only be made the end of April 2017 for March and the full month of April. I ask how much will that amount be, the consultant then tells me the amount of R 2600 plus. I explain to her that is impossible because my account has a cap on it and that there is no way I have used up so much data, I used the modem for a week without any downloads being made. She explained that only one cap was placed on thae contract and not on the extend line. I told her that I was told that a cap was placed and I would not know about the two caps because I do not work for Cell C. She then told me to return to the store and speak to the Salesperson who had assisted me.

The salesperson then told me that he will rectify the mistake. From that day on I call Cell C Customer Care and the store every second day. Although I would deal with *********** consulants at times some would give me posetive feedback that my problem had been resolved. Till date I am still struggling and being made empty promises.

My mother decided to put a stop order on the debt order till the problem was resolved. Cell C would send an sms every week asking if they could debt the money, reply yes/no, my mother would repond with no but Cell C would change reference numbers and deduct. My mother now sits with bank charges close to R 3000 because the bank rejects their payments.

I do not know what else to do or where to go.
