<p>when you go buy something from pick n pay the price does not say 17.99 and then after paying it your receipt say 17.99 plus 14% vat. the vat is already included in the 17.99 so that you know what you are paying for.</p> <p>but no not at cell c, they advertise or sell you something for R199 and still charge you VAT on it .</p> <p>i have 2 data contracts with cell since i thought they are affordable then the rest, but after careful analysis of my monthly bills i see VAT keeps increasing the costs i have been trying to cut.</p> <p>because sometime last year they had made an open season on my 062 number i put a R100 limit which i later reduced to R1 so that should my monthly data be depleted nothing gets reloaded and i did the same on my 084 contract. what is funny my statement for 084 now has call charges. i dont make any calls i have a vodacom number for making calling.</p> <p>this is what my statement looks like</p> <p>062: total including VAT 235; and</p> <p>084: total including VAT 200 ( 174.56 + 0.88 )and as i go further down the page the total bill AMOUNT EXCLUDING VAT R 442,98 (last time i checked 235 +174.56+0.88 = 410.44) VAT @14% R62.02.</p> <p>WHAT THE F***** CELL C. how do you do your calculations where do you get the 442,92 from. i expect this to be sorted our soon!</p>
