Don't bother with Cell C if you are in the Benoni area

I have been logging network issues for the past two months, have 14 incident reference numbers. When I call in to check progress I am repeatedly told that the technical department tried to get hold of me but I have not been contacted, no missed calls on my cell. The alternative contact number that I provided has also not been called. The cases are then closed due to them allegedly being unable to contact me.

I have been with Cell C for over a decade, have five contracts and all contracts are affected by these network issues. Cell C in Oakfields Shopping Centre could also not assist me, was referred to the call centre. All five of the contracts are using up data and I constantly have to top up although we battle to connect to websites and use apps on our phones.

When calling in I am told that the case will be escalated and emails are allegedly sent to managers and technical department staff for them to contact me. To date nothing has happened. This is very frustrating and I am wasting money on data without actually being able to connect to the internet.

There are a number of people in my complex and the surrounding area also experiencing these issues yet the response from Cell C is that they will not be putting up another tower to deal with connectivity issues as it is not financially viable for them.

I would strongly NOT recommend Cell C in the Benoni area as you will just be frustrated and waste your money for data that you never get to use properly.
