Dont be fooled by Cell C contract prices

I have a Nokia Lumia phone taken out on contract at Cell C in Tygervalley Centre for R279.00 per month X 24 months. This contract was advertised at R279.00 for the full 24 months and taken out in good faith on these terms, however I would like to warn other customers out there not be fooled by Cell C advertised prices.<br> <br> In short what happened is Cell C increased the monthly payment from R279.00 to R299.00 per month after just a few months without even giving the customer an explanation. I contacted Cell C and the service was terrible and no satisfactory explanation was provided. <br> <br> So I decided to go back to the Cell C store in Tygervalley to get clarity about why I have to now pay R299.00 when my contract with Cell C is for R279.00 they informed me that Cell C have decided to increase their existing contract customers rates by R20.00 per month (Apparently R20.00 pm is for 200mb extra data not requested by customer) and it is within their right to do so. <br> <br> So what happened to good faith and the customers right to expect to pay advertised prices?<br> <br> Cell C will definitely lose many of their valued customers with these sort of business practices. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
