Don't count on Cell C in an emergency

<p>Please explain why your 112 number never works. Last night i desperately tried to reach an ambulance. I landed up having to find someone with a different network provider to call for an ambulance. I have reported this as an issue at least on three separate occasions within the last 2 years. Once involving trying to contact police while there was an attempt to break into a house I was staying in. 112 should be a priority and it seems that Cell C does not care that an emergency number should be 100% functional at all times.</p> <p>The response i got from Cell C is "Our sincere apologies. We've just tried the number and everything is in order."</p> <p>I hope that when one of your customer's cannot get hold of emergency services, that the above feedback allows you to sleep at night. How can a cricitical service like a 112 ever be down? It should be prioritized on your network. Shocking to say the least and the next time i experiance the same issues with 112, i will be porting my number to another network. I will even go as far as to avoid any of the VMNO's that operate on the Cell C network. It's funny how your debit order system to collect money never seems to have any issues to collect money, but your emergency call centre has issues. </p>
