DO NOT TRUST CELL C!!!

I had 2 contracts with cell c prior to this one and i have never ever defaulted ever! I took a huawei phone and after a while realised i did not want to pay for something i did not like anymore. I went to Cell C pavilion in Durban and asked how much i was owing including penalties for early settlement. The lady said i must deposit at Nedbank and bring proof of payment, i settled the whole amount!!! today however i get a call from lawyers saying i have defaulted, mind you i asked for a settlement letter and the lady said i must request one via email which i did. prior to that i visited the store and asked about my account and was assured its closed and paid up. Cell c is messing with my credit history and i am advising anyone not to even start applying for a contract. I was a well paying loyal customer, and i settled my account yet today i am getting annoying calls from lawyers about an outstanding amount. what outstanding amount if i settled my account!!!????? also, why did no one call me prior to these annoying collectors to enquire about my account as i have been a loyal cell c customer for years??!!!! pathetic service and they are greedy. Once you let them debit your account they clearly never want to stop. Sort this mess out and stop toying with my credit score you *****s!!!!
