Do not take out ANY Cell C contract. WORST customer service you will EVER receive.

I honestly think that Cell C staff are actually trained in incompetence. My unfortunate 2 year fibre contract has been plagued with mistake after mistake on their part. Their billing team has caused lasting effects on my credit record due to sheer incompetence. Over a year and a half ago I called Cell C to inform them of a bank account change for my debit order. I gave them all the details and was told that it had been updated successfully, after a couple of months I realized that that particular debit order had not been going off. I contacted Cell C MYSELF to query what the status of my account was and when informed, I paid the outstanding amount IN FULL and made sure that the debit account number was now correct. Again, this took weeks of calling in and struggling to get through to Cell C due to their pathetic service, so that I could pay them THEIR money every month. Fast forward a year later and I am informed by my bank that I have an ITC record against my name from Cell C. I call Cell C, after struggling for hours to get through to a consultant I enquire about this ITC record and am told that someone simply FORGOT to update the credit status. How pathethic can you be Cell C? To treat your customers like this? I have now requested that my account status be updated and that I please be sent a letter that confirms I am not in arrears with Cell C so that my life can continue without repercussions due to the incompetence of Cell C staff. Can I please ask that these simple tasks be carried out with no further errors?

All you people out there, their fibre speeds and prices do not make up for the pain that is caused to work with them. DO NOT get a contract with Cell C!
