Do not get a contact number on an iPhone when you are a cell c customer!!!
Always had a prepaid SIM with Cell C, my hotspot was always available. Since I took out a contract number with an iPhone, my hotspot is not working and is greyed out. I got feedback that Cell C does not SUPPORT HOTSPOTS ON IPHONE CONTRACTS!!!!!!!!!!!! How ridiculous - I often need this when travelling for work.

I have escalated this more than once, and today I received the feedback that Cell C does not support HotSpots on certain iPhones (mine is the iPhone 16e) when on contract.
When I put my SIM in other phones, their hotspots are also greyed out - when I add someone else's SIM in my phone, then my hotspot works.
If someone with technical experience can reach out to me. I really need this from time to time, and I would've never taken the Sales offer when they phoned if I knew this was the case.
How long can I expect for someone to reach out to me?
