Dissatisfied Cell C customer

<p>On 18 January 2017 I called Cell C to cancel my contract and change it to Pre paid. at the time, i was in credit of R504.00. As my contract only expires in January 2018 i was asked to make a payment of R949.49 (being the balance of the contract) plus R149.00 (being for one month). This was done on 18 January 2017. i was told that my mobile number would be a prepaid number within one day. i have tried on three seperate occasions to port this number, without success. today i visited the Cell C Shop on The Bridge in Port Elizabeth and was told that it is still another two weeks before this mobile number is available to be ported. i have already entered into a contract with a different service provider and wanted to port this number as soon as it was paid up. At the time of payig, i had a balance of 500 free minutes available. today i am told that the extra minutes have been taken away and i now only have 200 minutes left (100 plus 100 which i have just paid for). I feel this is most unfair. i have been with Cell C for many years and am disgusted at the shoddy treatment.</p>
