Dissapointed
I spoke to one support consultant from Cell C who informed me that my account was in arrears and that I’m owing R2900 on my fibre line. My services only got restored on the 5th of June after having gone two months without access to the net. My services stopped working on the 01st of April and after futile attempts to get assistance from the support department cause of the strike I elected to cancel the service on the 26th of April. An amount of R1314 was deducted from my account which I tried in vein to reverse and eventually let go off. Only after Thabang Mokoena called me to assist did I start getting a ray of hope. Thabang went out of his way to help fix the problem that I had. I was thoroughly impressed. He really went the extra mile and this made me change the negative perception I had developed of CellC. Now the drama is on episode two! How can I honestly be charged for months when I had no service??? I logged a ticket and was given reference number *** by another consultant who confirmed that she will take it up with billing department. That was five days ago and since then no communication from CellC If the error was due to damages from my side I would have understood but I was not getting service from Cell C. I want this matter sorted as soon as possible otherwise there will be repercussions. A far as I am concerned only R799 should be going off my account not this diabolical R2900 figure.
Apologies for the frustration you have experienced.
We have escalated the matter to management from the Fibre department.
Do expect communication soon.
