Dishonest company period.
Lying, ********* business. My phone stopped charging, I sent it in under warranty and they sent me a quote back saying there is water damage. My phone has never been close to any water. What stops them from chucking water on the phone and claiming water damage? I know the truth but how would I ever prove it? You cannot even take the phone to a specialist and ask them beforehand what the problem is, because that would void the warranty. My advice: Stay well clear of Cell C.

We will get someone to contact you and provide clarity. The company is not dishonest and they would not chuck water on your phone.

29 Nov 2018, 15:16Actually, I plugged it in and the phone is working fine now. Pfffff.... Which just proves there were no water damage in the first place as that would surely have ****ed the phone. I ended my contract, I don't deal with that (Cell C's) kind of integrity. I feel for the millions of people who, I'm sure, have got the "water damage" excuse in the past and will probably get it in the future. Good riddance then.
