DISGUSTING SERVICE FROM CELL C

I called in to Cell C on 19 May 2020 after numerous calls finally got through to ask them to please cancel my contract as I was not getting any signal from where I was using it. I was sent an sms saying please pay R566.33 as a cancellation fee and to send proof of payment to *** which I duly did hoping that this would be the end of it. On the 1 June I get an sms to say that my subscription and value added services has been exceeded (very strange as this contract has been cancelled) I ignore this message as I think maybe its a system error. I then get another bill this month and call in only to be told that No my contract has not been cancelled as I did not call in after 48 hours apparently to cancel my contract. They apparently cannot find the phone call So now I get told that I have to repeat this whole process and pay a further R474.75 to cancel the contract and call in AGAIN after 48 hours to cancel I am absolutely flabbergasted as to how this company operates. Surely the intention was to cancel this contract the first time when I paid the first amount. Pathetic service with well scripted call center agents which just blew my fuse and needless to say has just ruined my day. Flippen money making **** if ever there was !!! I will NEVER deal with Cell C ever again in my life - bunch of *******!!!!!!!!!!!!!
