Disgusting Advert
I am absolutely disgusted in the recent Cell C advert where a dog humps or in there terms *****s someone's leg. First of all how do you explain to a 3 year old what the dog is doing. If you need customers that badly please do it in a respectable manner. I loved Cell C and was with you guys for a few years then got a better deal with Telkom and just when I decided to do the contract buyout where I was only offered R1000 instead of R10 000 like in the advert. When I saw this pathetic advert I realised that I was making a terrible decision. Because of your dog ******* ad my family are now thinking of leaving Cell C and I will gladly encourage them to do so because its disgraceful that you had to go so far.<br> <br> What would you tell your children when you see a dog ******* peoples leg in an advert where you as a family are watching your favourite TV series. Its pathetic, I have totally lost all respect for Cell C when I really admired them for all the sporting sponsorship you have done.

Cell C's latest commercial featuring a dog, was created to highlight Cell C's value offering in a humorous and light-hearted way.
Given the nature of the adverti*****t, the ad will only be flighted during television shows after 8.30pm (with the exception of the broadcast during Carte Blanche) and movies that are rated PG16 and over to ensure children are not exposed.
The dog used in the filming of the commercial was monitored at all times by a qualified veterinarian and a member of the Animal Anti-Cruelty League. The so-called '*******' scenes were filmed using a puppet in the likeness of the animal.
Customers are eligible for a value of up to R10 000 in the form of a Gift card to buy out their contract provided they sign up to the qualifying EPIC plans.
