Disgusted with Cell C Customer Service

<p>I upgraded my contract from R149.00 to a more expensive contract of R179.00 just so that I can get a decent enough handset. I didnt like the handsets that were on offfer for the R149.00 contract. We got the upgrade done through Cell C Direct. Right from the time of delivery (26/07/2016)we experience problems with the unit. It kept switching off on its own. I contacted Cell C and they arranged for the courier to pick up the faulty phone. The phone was sent back on 04/08/2016 Ref CCD30666. On the 17/08/2016 we recieved an SMS saying that the device had been approved as an OBF. I have been through battle with various Cell C staff. All promise to get back to you, but they never do. Please call back my phone calls made to Cell C from ********** and you will see how many times i had to phone them and still no joy. In the interim I am paying for the new subscripton with no device. They are only willing to give me a basic entry level handset, which I initially declined when doing the upgrade, hence the R179.00 contract. I simply want the exact device that was returned (Microsoft Lumia 532) or an equivalent. I have been a long standing Customer of Cell C, currently holding five contracts. It saddens me that you dont get the service that you require when you phone the customer care departments and i am now forced to post a review on Hello Peter. I want this matter resolved as soon as possible.</p>
