Discriminating against a long time loyal client!
I recently tried to upgrade my cell phone contract, however, I am waiting for feedback for more than a week. I visited Cell C Victoria Road, PMB and have been dealing with the store manager, Celumusa. My upgrade has not been accepted as I am on debt review. I am being discriminated against, as I am being financially responsible? According to my debt review company, the agreement with Cell C is a service agreement, not a credit agreement, hence it does not form part of the debt review process. I have been paying very well each month and cell phone expenses are included in my budget set up by my debt councilor. I will actually be paying less for the cell phone I wanted to upgrade to, not sure how this is a problem? Its not a new agreement, its an extension of the agreement already in place. I don't want to upgrade because I need a fancy cell phone. My current phone's speaker is not working and I use this phone for business. Is this how you treat loyal customers?
Please tell me why.....
I am spending R1000 per month on a cell phone contract each month. So you are willing to lose this income each month rather than upgrade a contract that I can clearly afford, as the payment is less than what I am paying today. The reason you do a credit check is to check affordability. I can obviously afford this, as I will be paying less than I am paying for my current contract. I do not accept this answer. You need to tell me why. I will keep on posting bad reviews until I get a response, telling me why, with a good enough excuse. As this response is not good enough.
