Disappointing Sale Tactics

I get dozens of calls from Cell C call center telling me my contract is coming to an end and I need to upgrade. I tell them I would rather do it from the store so I can see the phone before i get it.

I go to the store, and they have no stock, they told me they would get stock by friday 3rd of may.

The next day Call c call center calls me again saying they have stock and can get it to me by friday the 3rd of may. I say "fine - lets do that, if you can get it to me by friday I am happy".

Friday comes and I get no news on the where about's of my phone. I call Cell C and they say it is still on its way and they "Promise Promise Promise" it will be here by Monday.

Today is Monday, still no news. I call Cell C and after waiting 12 minutes in the call queue, the lady at Cell C says they have not even given the phone to the courier company yet.

Also today, I had to turn down the phone from the Cell C store as I have already accepted the Cell C Call centers offer.

So my three problems are, 1: why am I being **** to and 2: why is there no way of tracking my order online or something so that I don't need to call the Customer Service line and wait 10 minutes to get an answer, finally 3: Why has my phone not been given to the courier company yet.

I am not angry, I just expected more from Cell C.
