Disappointed in Cell C

I have been a customer at Cell C for 4 years. In this time Cell C has incorrectly billed me on several occasions. I have complained and spoke to numerous call centre staff, I have also visited the Cell C head office in Woodmead, but never have I received any promised feedback or a resolution to the billing errors they have caused.

Naturally due to Cell C's ineptitude I did not renew my contract with them, however unfortunately again they proved to be incapable of canceling my contract correctly. In an attempt to cancel, I called their call centre and spoke to Nogwasi, she informed me that the contract will expire in 30 days allowing me enough time to use-up my airtime and data. But the realty is that as soon as our call ended I got an SMS stating that my contract had been terminated with immediate effect, consequence of which I lost all of my airtime and data. I was also not able to make any calls and was forced to get a contract with another provider on very short notice.

To add final insult to injury, Cell C, in true form, billed me at the end of the month for the FULL CONTRACT VALUE.

I had called the call centre post the incorrect cancelation on several occasions to try and retrieve my airtime/data or at the very least ensure I was not billed in full. Every time I received a reference number and a promise that someone would look into my matter and get back to me. Three weeks have passed and Cell C has stayed true to form and useless.

I cannot stress how incapable their billing team is, it has been a pure headache deadline with them. Stay away.
