I failed the security questions and they refused to do the SIM swap for a cell number I've used for years now had to update all the information I've used on the number. Might loose job opportunities that I have already app**** using the number and bursaries

We can imagine your frustration. However, there is a lot of ***** when it comes to SIM swaps and that is why we take the necessary steps to protect you as the customer as well as Cell C.

I don't understand your explanation because when I come to the branch with the ID book and proof of residence it shows that I am the owner of the number why is it so difficult to do the SIM swap as I have proved by bringing my FICA documents?

There has to be a way to go about doing the SIM swap
