Deducting after phone returned

In beginning of September 2016 a rep of Cell C Direct telephonically contact my wife to get a cellphone. Typically sales talk, everything sounds nice. When she recieved the phone it was far from what was expected. On 2016-09-05 she phoned and requested that the phone to be collected as he was unsatified with this phone. The courier came to fetch the phone. She did not even activated the sim,

End October 2016 she recieved an account and R359.58 was deducted from her bank account. She phone the relevant appartment, told them the whole story and received a reference number ********** 710. She was then promised that things would be sorted out and refunded. End November 2016 she received another account and R213.99 was deducted from her bank account. She phone again, tell them the whole story again and promises of phoning back within an hour never happened.

In total, since the first phone call, she phoned 11 times to sort this out. Today, 2016-12-28 she phoned again and was told by Tamina that someone put a credit on this account but she changed it to refund. Some one will phone my wife to get the bank account into which the refund must be paid. That will take another 7 working days? Really??? Cell C is quick to violate the Consumer Act by deducting money for something my wife returned within the said period of time.

Very bad service.
