Debit Order Ts and Cs

Cell C... Cell C... Cell C

What a horrible service provider this is, my contract is about 5 months old and what an experience I had.

Did you know that Cell C does not have Ts and Cs for their debit orders? So when you pay your account via debit order you better know what you are signing up for..

My July (25th) debit order was unpaid and do i regret it, this is the 4th week where they tried to debit my account without prior approval or evens contacting me to give the go ahead on the adhoc debit orders.

Last week i called the Call Center to obtain the Ts and Cs however i was told there is no Ts and Cs and I was informed that if your normal debit order fails Cell C will try and debit your account twice the following month besides the normal debit date. But how is this the 4th week without fail cell c tried to debit my account.

Where is the Debit Order Ts and Cs?

Hi

Thank you for your response.

5.3.3. made by the payment method selected by you in the Application, or by any other means as may be agreed by the Service Suppliers in writing. To the extent that the payment method is an electronic payment and it fails for any reason, the Service Suppliers shall have the right to subsequently use any legal means available (including, without limitation, early debit order facilities) to recover any and all amounts owing, and/or you agree, understand, confirm and authorise the Service Suppliers to debit your account in such circumstances.

Can this be discussed as there seems to be a damn confusion. As per the statement it states " the Service Suppliers shall have the right to subsequently use any legal means available (including, without limitation, early debit order facilities) to recover any and all amounts owing, and/or you agree, understand, confirm and authorise the Service Suppliers to debit your account in such circumstances"

Now here is my problem with the statement it states that "you" being I the customer will agree, understand, confirm and authorise the Service Suppliers to debit your account in such circumstances" but the thing is no one contacted me for this so how does this apply to me.

I understand that I missed my debit order on the 25th of July however for the month of August Cell C tried to debit my bank account every single week without me "agree, understand, confirm and authorise the Service Suppliers to debit your account"

I dont know what else to say, the details are clear in black and what but its not the service I am getting. It is clear that this does not apply to me. Better yet this was the first failed debit order.
