Debit order penalty Cell C
Debit order for Cell C went off now only to find an extra R70 added to my bill. When I call through I am advised that it is for a missed debit order. Problem is I did make a manual payment on that premium and was never advised that there will be any additional charges

If a debit order is not successful on your nominated debit date, this results as a debit order default, even though the money is then manually paid in after the nominated debit date.
Kindly refer to the below, which can also be found on your monthly invoice:
Debit order return fee
Remember to make provision for your debit order on the date you have selected. Should your
debit order be returned by your bank due to insufficient funds, you may be charged an admin
fee by your bank and by Cell C.
