Debit Order cancelled without my consent

Over the weekend i recieved an email from cellc letting me know that if i don't pay my outstanding premiums they would further hand me over. Now this came as a surprise as i never had to worry about late payments because there was a debit order in place. I quickly made the payment they said was outstanding and sent proof of payment. Today an agent called enquiring about my outstanding fees, and i told her i had paid and proceeded to ask why wasn't payment taken by debit order as usual. She then told me it was cancelled, to my surprise because i have never asked to cancell the debit order. This is unacceptable as it will have a negative effect on my credit record while it is Cell C fault. I am a financial advisor and this will have cause problems for me at work as im required to keep a clean credit record. They easily hand you over for mistakes they've made now when i need assistance clearing my name and finding out who did this, there are no results.
