Debit- Cancelled contract

I cancelled my contract with Cellc after they have continua-sly provided me with a ****py service.

late March i called their customer care and requested a settlement amount to conclude a premature cancellation.

I was given a amount of R1674.88 which i wired to the account number that was provided to me.

Few days later i received a mail that confirmed my funds have been allocated to my number and they are now forwarding the matter to retention where cancellation will be concluded.

A week later i received an sms to say my number has been migrated....... my understanding was that my contract is now cancelled, and i immediately ported my number to Vodacom.

To my surprise on the 29/04/2017 my account is debited by Cellc an amount of R1712. 25......

i went to the Cellc Store at Mimosa mall, where I got very little assistance from a guy by the name of Berry Jacobus..

We called their customer care in which i was transferred from one division to the other, with no proper answers of course.......... Lastly the call was directed to Legal department where a lady by the name of Tania Golaith told me that the amount debited on the 29/04/2017 was for a device fee. i disputed that because the settlement amount that was give to me in March was said to have included the device fee.

she then argued her point by saying my March subscription was not collected. As per my bank statements that subscriptions were up to date and if they weren't i don't think they should be R1712.25

for months cellc has been debiting me funny amounts, without even sending me invoices or statements to indicate exactly what i am paying for.

Cellc I have reversed that transaction and i give no permission to debit my account without my concern or any written and signed agreement.

if u don't train ur agents so well that they explain everything then stay away from my account.

if any debit goes off my account i will consider that as *****ing since my contract is cancelled.
