I went to cell C with the intention of getting one of their data contracts. The fact that we live in a small town made me cautious of speed issues so I asked and clearly stated that I want to test the speed (in the shop even) before I commit into taking the package. The senior sales person assured me no problem. When he gave me the sim card the speed was terrible, almost like using edge, so I said thanks but no thanks . Then he started with all kinds of tricks saying he already activated the contract, even though I have not signed all the papers, I did not even receive the copy as their printer was "offline". After much arguing, he ensured me that all has been cancelled. To my surprise I noticed they debited my account anyways! Clearly these guys do not understand consumer protection act!. I am so tired of bad service delivery I am considering contacting the Consumer rights protection and taking legal action as well. This is seriously a joke. Absolutely disgusting.
