Data prices

I load a whatsapp bundle every month for R12.00, on 14/11/17 i received a sms stating " You have reached your fair usage limit of Whatsapp data" how is it that i buy a 30day whatsapp bundle but i reached a "Fair Usage Limit"? i called the call centre and spoke to Enoch, he advised Cell C has now cut the whatsapp bundle in half to 500MB. Why does Cell C give you the option to buy something yet they do not give you what you bought? Enoch advised that he agrees with me that it is unfair of Cell C to do that as they have not communicated to their clients that this would now be the whatsapp bundle. i have been with Cell C for many years and everytime they increase their data prices without informing us as their clients. The sad part is Cell C cut their whatsapp bundle in half yet they charge the full price of R12.00. Why did this happen? and why does it still say buy a 30day bundle and not 500MB? I was advised by Enoch that there is alot of clients calling in to complain about this service, yet Cell C does not make the effort to let their clients know of the changes, but they more than happy to sell you a 30day whatsapp bundle for R12.00 but in actual fact they only give you half of what you paid for, i hope Cell C responds to this complaint or at the very least apologize to their clients, note i am saying "their clients" as i have now ported to another network that does not lie to and ***** from their clients. Everyone who reads this post can call and complain, Cell C will be forced to do something about it, or in the very least change the wording on the service site where you buy data. i am also sending this complaint to the Ombudsman as i know Cell C will not contact me in this regard.
