Data cost for Smartphone

Why do we pay so much more for data on Smartphone the normal Data Cost.<br> 1GB for a smartphone is R149.00 . You can get 2GB+3gb nighttime for R99.00.<br> <br> None of the Cellphone sales people really know why.
