Data card expired

Purchased 2x100GB data cards in November. Used the one card till depleted. Switched to other card. No longer works. The card was not used within 3 months so the number was recycled. Been to the store and emailed Cell C. They cannot do anything about it. So i have lost R999 I was not informed that i must use it within 3 months to activate. No-one can do anything about it.
