Data Bundle *****
I bought for my 5 cell phones R 899.00 30Gb bundle thru my Standard bank Acc ans there was not (and still there are not) options to choose tone package so as any normal human been i thought that it is for 365 days. So i spent in total R 4495 for my, my wife and 3 kids phones 30GB each bundles. 3 month later with on average 20+ GB data left on each account the data went with no warning . I went to Cell C shop in Cresta and it was explained to me that i choose 3 month option not 365 days. Than i logged in and check where did i made a mistake and i turn the website of standard bank upside down but there is no potion to choose for how long is the bundle. Further more this is done on purpose because if you look their bundles they got 90 day 30GB and 365 days 30GB at the same exact price. So basically i was ****** over R 3000 rand by Cell C and they are not willing ( or the people int the shop are not willing ) to rectify the situation. This is wrong on so many levels that in any normal country they would have been taken to court but not here i guess. I am still going to contact ombudsman to see if the situation will be rectified but will give 7 days to Cell C to rectify it before that.

The airtime and data was sold to your bank in bulk and they are now a re-seller, data queries arising from purchases processed on any banking app should be directed to the bank in question.

06 Jan 2020, 09:50I think that as suppler of data you should, and i am s**** you do check the way that have been sold, and pushing the responsibility to the bank it is another way to say: we don't care. The issue should have been handled long ago as i am not the first person complaining about that.
Further more structuring the price as the same for 3 month and 12 month it is ****y trap to start with, and i am s**** that you are aware of that. Extending the time of your data bundle cost is more expensive than the data it self and this is been done on purpose too because if the price is the same ( even on your app) than i see no reason to be any costs involved. Further more it can be done only with in 5 days of the bundle expiration and even the person in Cell C store did not know how to do it. Bank interface has been done in conjunction with your company and there was enough supervision from your site , i am s****. It is ugly way to cheat people out of their money and easy way to chase customers away. Transferring blame to the bank in this case it make no sense since the product have been structured incorrect to start with and it makes no sense that anyone will purchase R 4500 data for 3 months for the same price as 12 months shall been given the option.
