dat vs Airtime

Firstly no greeting that tells me who am I talking to.I do not understand why my airtime should be used on internet when I have data. I was told to hold and she tried to transfer me to CONTRACT. My problem had nothing to do with cellc but the phone am using she said. Well it has everything to do with cellc because if my simcard was not in my phone it will not run. I had to explain that My phone only updates when on wifi not on data . I have been using cellc for a while am very much disappointed , the lady who answered the phone seem to not know anything. I still need an explanation .
