Damaged Phone

I bought a phone from Cell C and took insurance with CSurance the same month. My phone is now dead and could not switch on, I took the phone to Cell C in Alberton for repair since it is still under contract and it is insured. The phone was sent to repair centre (CLC***) and came back not fixed, and this problem happens for the second time now. I called CSurance to claim a new phone and was advised to re-book the phone with Cell C and also submit the claim form to them. I did do what i was told and got the reference from Cell C (CLC***), today when i call CSurance to find out about status of my claim, I was informed that i wont be getting a new phone. Out of anger i told the Consultant to cancel my insurance with immediate effect since i see no value of having it.<br> <br> If this is how insurance companies work, I wont recommend anyone to taking insurance for their phone. You will be loyal and pay every month without even skipping any of your instalment, but when coming to pay its a hustle. Bad Service Indeed
