DAMAGED IPHONE 5S RECEIVED FROM REPAIRS AT CELL C
I sent in my iPhone 5s to Cell C at Woodmead on 3 August 2015. The screen had been slightly loose and was slightly lifting over time please note that prior to me sending the phone in for repairs at cell c, that I was able to click the screen back in to place whenever it went out of place and that the screen was working perfectly fine before it went it. My main concern was my home button which was not working at all. I also wanted cell c to secure my screen. I had gone to the I-store before this & been advised that a loose screen & the lifting of such means that there is a faulty swelling battery & a factory defect and that I should take it to cell c for them to assess for a new phone. I also told the cell c consultant that it could be a faulty battery & that this should be looked at. After sending my phone in, I was quoted an amount of R6,728.70 for repairing my device. I was quite shocked & rejected the quote & went to pick up my phone. On fetching it, it was in an even more damaged state than I had left it in. The screen was COMPLETELY loose, coming off the phone and NOT clicking back into place at all. Further, there was an internal crack which had not been there before!
