Csurance bad service
I handed my cell phone in for repairs on 18th November. After silence for 3 weeks, I enquired on the 7th of December. I was told that my insurance was not activated !!?? The lady immediately activate the insurance. Once again silence for a few days. When I phoned, I was told that I need to pay an excess of R200. I had to request the banking details to pay the excess 3 times!!! After payment was made on the 9th of December, and proof of payment e-mailed several times, I was informed on the 13th of December that they are awaiting proof of payment to initiate repairs !!!! Once again proof of payment was e-mailed on the 14th of December. Silence again. Upon enquiring on the 18th of December, I was told that I need to pay the excess !!!! When I told them that it has been paid and proof e-mailed, the gentleman put me on hold. He came back and told me that he activated the repair to be done, and it will take approx 7 working days!!!!! Can it really take 5 weeks to repair a cracked screen????? Even a complaint to a supervisor was a waiste of time. Nothing was done !!! The selling pitch for insurance on your cell phone is that you do not have to pay if something happen to your phone. Please!!! Where does the R200 excess payment then come from ???? They do not tell you that you will be without your phone for more than a month or perhaps 2 months !!!!! Do not make use of Csurance if you want insurance on your cell phone !!!! The phone calls/ emails/complaints/ frustration is not worth it !!!!!
